Whats you're point I bought a PS2 off a friend so i could say i had all the console's and the games and the console sucked so bad i traded it for 2 packs of smokes. It's preference and if Sony remains the leader for ever it won't change the fact that MS puts out fresh games and gameplay not seen sence the jump from atari 2600 to NES...

Who knows right?, PS3 may rule the world, you do make sense and that's common sense, but PS3 could get whiped out due to no price cuts, short-comming on specs and graghics and sh!tty online. All i know is the gameplay and the quality of games on 360 a far better. PS has that cheap watered down gamplay and analog control that i hate, and a sub par experiance in gaming. PS has too many garbage games and i don't have time to research thousands of games inwitch 90% of them are garbage. I like MS ...

gametime you're an prime example of effective marketing by Sony. 8-16 year olds get hooked with all the cartoony graphics of PS they get a little older and either stop playing or they go with adult rated games MS pushes and it will happen every generation because of the Japanese art/Anime/CGI stuff it's very handy. PS has a very broad, deep, weird, cataloge of games, and a under ground style. "The cool kid" style, that's One thing Sony did right to market their system's. The thing MS lacks is diverse cultural influences in the game cataloge. That's the real battle everbody was raised with Japanese style games and some don't get MS's western style and some moved on and have not looked back.
Sony came from an old school game industry with a old school outlook, on the other hand MS has the Arcade in the living room mentality and has more of the type of games that i played in the arcade when i was young and that style is revolutionary. If you don't get it that's not our problem.
